Primer / Undercoat

The basis of a coat of paint is the right primer. This meets different requirement profiles: As an adhesion promoter, it ensures good adhesion between the intermediate and top coats that follow on the substrate. Depending on the substrate, its filling properties ensure more homogeneous surfaces. The primer serves to protect against corrosion on metal surfaces, and has a sealing or impregnating effect when used on wood - a plus, especially for use outdoors.
